The activity, which took place from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB, was attended by the Dean of FMIPA UGM, Prof. Dr. Eng. Kuwat Triyana, M.Si., the Head of the Undergraduate Physics Study Program, Dr. Eng. Ahmad Kusumaatmaja, S.Si., M.Sc., the Secretary of the Undergraduate Physics Study Program, Dr. Juliasih Partini, S.Si., M.Si., as well as undergraduate students from the 2023 cohort.
The Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FMIPA UGM), organized an Iftar or communal breaking of the fast event on March 4, 2026. This activity was part of an effort to strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions and industry in supporting the advancement of science, research, and technological innovation in the field of education.
The Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN), in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) and the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), will organize the Short School on Quantum Physics 2026 under the theme “The Centennial Progress in Quantum Physics – From Fundamental Aspect to Application.”

The Department of Physics organized a workshop entitled “Sustainable Synergy Workshop: Leadership Transition, Appreciating Dedication, and Building Innovation in the Department of Physics”, held on 9–10 January 2026 at the Kalimasada Ballroom, Griya Persada Convention Hotel & Resort, Yogyakarta. This activity aimed to evaluate the performance of the 2021–2026 management period, strengthen synergy among study programs, and formulate strategic steps for the future development of the Department of Physics.
