Objectives

The objectives to be achieved are the realization of the Physics Department, as part of FMIPA UGM, becoming a leading department in Indonesia with international achievements and reputation through:

1. Employability: Equipping students and alumni with the skills to obtain good jobs and careers or run businesses as professionals.

2. Academic Reputation: Academic reputation relates to the perceived quality, credibility, and prestige of the Physics Department, FMIPA UGM. It measures how the department is viewed by partners, scholars, students, and the general public as an educational entity.

3. Contributions to Society: The Physics Department of FMIPA UGM plays a crucial role in providing contributions based on physics, geophysics, and their applications to society, which includes quality education, research and innovation, community service, public education, character and value development, involvement in community development, and dissemination of knowledge and information.

4. Welfare: Welfare refers to the happiness, health, security, and prosperity of the academic community of the Physics Department, FMIPA UGM, encompassing various aspects of living conditions, including economic, social, and physical well-being. To achieve this, the department strives to build a healthy, enjoyable, and secure work and learning environment to support the implementation of the Tri Dharma.
