On December 18-19, 2023, the Department of Physics UGM received a visitation from Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Sains Alam dan Ilmu Formal (LAMSAMA) in the context of Field Assessment of Physics and Geophysics Undergraduate Study Programs. Field assessment activities involve many people ranging from faculty administrators, lecturers, staff, students, alumni to alumni users.
As a result of the series of field assessments, the Physics Undergraduate Study Program and Geophysics Undergraduate Study Program successfully obtained “Excellent” accreditation by LAMSAMA for 2023-2028.
